Talk the Talk is a private speech and language pathology practice which specializes in providing speech and language therapy to children ages 3-14 and accent reduction therapy for adults.

Talk the Talk is based on the Upper East Side and provides therapy in the comfort of your own home, school or day care center anywhere below 96th Street in Manhattan. At Talk the Talk, we pay specific attention to reaching individualized goals and aim to maximize convenience for parents and clients.

Talk the Talk provides a full range of services for children with speech, language and oral-motor difficulties. Our services include screenings, consultations, evaluations and special programs and we encourage collaboration with parents, teachers and other health care professionals.

We seek to provide an encouraging and energetic environment for our clients and strive to provide the highest quality of service while working to achieve specifically tailored speech and language goals.

Our principal, Heather Moss is ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) certified and New York State licensed, holds a permanent certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) and is Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT) Trained.

Heather has a wealth of experience and has practiced in the United States and Australia and has studied and participated in education programs in France, Prague, Poland, Israel and China. She has an infectious enthusiasm for her client’s improvement and has an energetic and creative personality conducive to working with children and adults alike.
